Mechanical Project Engineer

Our client is a multi-disciplined engineering business offering design, manufacture, installation, maintenance and decommissioning services to the nuclear, oil & gas, defence, petrochemical and food process sectors. The company operates throughout the UK, Europe and internationally. They are a National Building Services company who predominantly work on high value installations, including projects such as healthcare, custodial, high end residential projects and education.
A suitable candidate must have previous engineering experience on various projects. You must be a good communicator, be used to liaising with the client and contractor at regular meetings and be able to keep on top of the site administration in an orderly fashion.
You must ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and conducted as prescribed in the contract, you will regularly attend meetings with the client and update your project manager with detailed analysis of the project.
You must be able to interpret the design and have sufficient technical ability to create or adapt design information when required managing to keep the ongoing project to cost and time allocation and understand the budget of the project at any given time.
Building Services experience is essential. Minimum requirements of ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering. CSCS card.
