Here is an outstanding opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience of designing heavy duty equipment that wants to be involved in cradle to grave design projects in a small team commissioned by Power companies to make arguably the best equipment in the industry

The company themselves are a niche specialist that design and manufacture bespoke hand built HV generator equipment for power companies up to 3MVA in power. The company pride themselves on supporting their engineers through world class training including degrees, specialist qualifications and Chartership

The role itself involves cradle to grave design of hand built generators ranging from 5KV up to 3 Megavolts and work as the first expert point of contact for blue chip organisation requiring the very crème of industry expertise and specialisation. You will use Autocad and Solidworks to design this equipment and work in a small team seeing concept through to completion. You will also be involved in the support, development, testing and handover stages using your skillset to aid the projects as well as learning and developing new skills
