Java Developer

A Java Developer is sought for a heavily IT focused Consultancy Company based in Watford. We need a talented and experienced server-side Java Developer to Join an Agile development organisation.

You will play a leading role in new product development. This is a very hands-on technical role and the successful candidate must demonstrate a proven track record in developing enterprise-grade software products.

The right Java Developer’s Key Responsibilities:

– Design, write and test new software.
– Develop existing products by analysing and identifying areas for modification.
– Research and investigate new technologies and update on multiple coding languages to enhance depth of knowledge and build on our websites competitive advantage.
– Problem-solve and think laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the requirements of the project.
– Ensure that new code conforms to agreed coding and testing standards, paying particular attention to the writing and running of automated unit tests.
– Responsible for technical and personal career development to meet the demands of the role.
