Support Worker

Are you a hard-working Support Worker fed up with a lack of permanent, full-time care jobs? Perhaps you are working in a youth role at the moment, or with adults with learning disabilities, but want a new challenge?

We currently have several exciting permanent vacancies for Support Workers in Boscombe area of Bournemouth/Christchurch. The service is a 12-bedded residential home which provides support to young adults (typically 16-25) who either have a diagnosis of Autism and/or display complex behaviours that challenge.

This would involve working 3 days per week on either an 08:00-20:00 or 09:00-21:00 shift pattern.

– Creating personal programmes of support and progression designed to meet the individual’s needs and aspirations
– Keeping young adults safe by confronting antisocial behaviours in a positive way

Requirements
– A confident, positive and extroverted character

– Experience working in the social care sector
– Able to work long days
