Salary: £40,800 – £45,600pro rata

Job Description:
I have an interesting position for a Senior Occupational Health Advisor on a part time, permanent basis based in Northumbria.

My client is a large and respected Occupational Health provider which serves a wide range of companies and organisations across several industry sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, confident, capable, and charismatic Senior Occupational Health Advisor on a part time basis.

It is a part time position working 4 days per week, standard working hours.
The days of work would be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

This position will be based on site for one of their public sector clients in Tyne and Wear.

As the Senior Occupational Health Advisor you would be part of a 5 nurse OHA team, plus doctors, a physiotherapist and counsellors, as well as admin staff.

Job Requirements:
As a Senior Occupational Health Advisor you will be based in Northumbria.

You must be competent in the full Occupational Health remit, although predominantly the main remit for this role will be case management.

As the Senior Occupational Health Advisor you will also support the wider team in a number of activities including, but not limited to, health surveillance and screening, triage and immunisation.

You will also expected to cover the Lead Occupational Health Advisor role in the post-holders absence.

You need to have excellent report writing and case management skills.

You will be based on site in a wide and varied role within an emergency services environment.

As a Senior Occupational Health Advisor you will be responsible for leading and managing a small Occupational Health Team, overseeing and maintaining a high quality Occupational Health provision as well as having an active involvement in general Occupational Health practice.

Skills/ Qualifications:
To be considered for this role it is essential you are a Registered Nurse with a degree in Occupational Health and on part 3 of the nursing register.

You need to be confident, capable, experienced, and pro-active.

My client is looking for a Senior Occupational Health Advisor with clinical ability as well as personal ability.

You need to have a robust character as it can be quite a challenging environment.

Ideally you will have previous people management experience.
