Senior Scientist – Immunologist

Our exciting biotherapeutic client based in the Midlands is looking for an experienced Senior Scientist – Immunologist to join their R&D Team. You will be joining a team of expert scientists and business specialists whose company vision is to become a global healthcare leader specialising in diseases that can be impacted via the gut mucosa.

You will use your previous experience to support pre-clinical evaluation/translations of immuno-modulatory live biotherapeutics (LBP’s). You’ll investigate the immunological response of novel candidates, utilising both practical laboratory work and managing relationships with academic collaborators and CRO’s.

To be successful you will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with a relevant life sciences degree/PhD plus significant subsequent experience, in relevant academic or industrial research laboratories, in the fields of immunology and drug discovery.

You must also have experience delivering and interpreting a broad repertoire of in vitro (and in vivo) immunology studies and assays as well as experience of preclinical evaluation of immunomodulatory agents.
