Quality Inspector

Salary: £30,000 per year

Our client is a highly reputable business based on the outskirts of Burton, towards Uttoxeter. They are the proud owners of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise and owing to substantial growth, they are presently looking to appoint a Quality Inspector. Taking responsibility for development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of quality assurance processes, your duties will entail:

• Perform measurement procedures and document results
• Reading engineering drawings
• Perform problem identification, resolution, scrap reporting, etc
• Manage supplier and customer returns
• Maintain equipment calibration records
• Participate in quality audits

In order to carry out this role it is expected that you will have some relevant experience, ideally in a precision machined components environment and/or aerospace/motorsport, and that you will have a solid knowledge of quality tools used in the industry. You should also have the ability to read engineering drawings and write reports.
