Junior Laboratory Support Technician

The role of the Junior/Graduate Laboratory Support Technician draws on a range of skills and is very hands on and involves a range of activities including physical (e.g. light lifting) as well as desk-based work. In particular, the role carries following main responsibilities:

Installation of instrumentation systems
Assisting project change-over
Maintaining instrumentation and instrumentation storage
Maintaining workplace ergonomics and safety
Maintaining on site model movement
Producing project photography
Interacting with instrumentation and quality checking
Implementing of Quality Procedures
Implementation of maintenance and technical development programs
Adhering to Health and Safety Procedures at all times
