Security Account Manager

Account Manager – CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Attack Alarms
Location: The North – Greater Manchester or West Yorkshire
Salary: £36,000basic £50k OTE + car

My client is a leading manufacturer of staff attack alarms and an installer of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms for customer in the Commercial and Healthcare sectors. To aid further expansion, they have a requirement for an experienced systems salesman to develop existing accounts and develop new opportunities in Northern England.

The main responsibilities:

– To promote and sell the complete range of products, systems and services as well other security products to new prospects and existing customers in a defined geographical area, loosely designated as Northern England.

– To take responsibility for the management of a portfolio of end-user customer accounts within this geographical territory

– To respond to enquiries from prospects and customers and be responsible for providing such information to them as is required.

– To prepare quotations, responses to requests to tender and plan successful
installations.

– To prepare reports, presentations, etc. for both internal and external consumption as may be necessary.

Requirements:

– Experience of selling different types of security systems and of complex, multilevel selling is essential.

– A good technical understanding of current generation systems including integrated systems and IP CCTV

– Experience selling to healthcare and/or public sector end users

On top of a basic of £30k, there is an excellent, uncapped commission structure, profit share scheme and company vehicle provided with the role.
