Compliance and Ethics Advisor

My client, a leading distribution services and e-commerce provider for the global travel industry, is seeking a Compliance and Ethics (C&E) Advisor.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the enhancement of the records management process, providing technical advice to employees
• Responsible for administering EU Safe Harbor certification, including the employee data element; which include any renewal processes to maintain compliance
• Secretary to and member of the Privacy Compliance team, which will include taking minutes/actions and distribution of such and any other ad hoc tasks as part of this team
• Support new legal requirements with applicable C&E programme components (e.g. including policy development, training and monitoring)
• Active participant in the revision of C&E Policies, Guidance and related documents in collaboration with subject matter experts and control functions (e.g. Legal, Human Resources, Internal Audit)
• Advising Managers and Executives on C&E matters, including data privacy and records management.

Essential Experience (Please do not apply if you do not have the following experience):
• In-depth knowledge of C&E related policies and procedure, including their creation and maintenance
• A working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations applicable to the markets covered, including EU Safe Harbor privacy/data protection legislation
• Will have the ability to provide technical guidance on some of the above policies, procedures, regulations etc.
