Document Controller & Lits Analyst – Aviation

Salary: £36,000 – £44,400 per year

Cobham Aviation Services are recruiting for a Document Controller & LITs Analyst to provide aircraft documentation and LITs support to the Sentry maintenance programme. The Documentation Controller and LITs analyst is responsible for provision of aircraft maintenance documentation, maintenance of aircraft F700 & associated IT Systems, aircraft documentation support to Operations and providing any further support to the Senior Documentation Controller.

This position is based at our RAF Waddington site and requires minimal travel. This position is offered as a 12 month fixed term contract.

As a Document Controller & LITs Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Background in HM Armed Forces with knowledge of F700 & LITs is desirable.
Competent in the use of F700 and associated documentation

Competent in undertaking F700 QA checks

Experienced in the use of LITS information technology systems

Advanced Verbal and written communication skills

As a Document Controller & LITs Anaylst your main responsibilities will involve:

Production & Updating of input work packs as directed by the Senior Documentation Controller.

Ensuring Information Technology systems are maintained & updated accurately (LITs)

Carrying out F700 quality checks.

Ensuring all completed aircraft documentation is recorded accurately

Progress & monitor concessions as required

Update Sentry Corrosion & Repair Database in accordance with relevant instructions

Accurate recording of the aircraft weight and balance.

Participating in Quality Audits and Quality Circles when required.

Carry out additional tasking as requested by the Management team

Ensuring compliance with all applicable COBHAM procedures, HR/Admin, Finance, SHE Technical Standards and other requirements
