Job Description

I am currently looking to recruit a Operations Manager for a global leader in Elevators and Escalators.

The Operations Manager will be responsible to work closely with the Maintenance and Design teams. They will also be in charge of the engineers and the day to day running through terminals 1-5. They will perform a specific discipline over a wide range of complexities or large geographic area.

The role will be based in Heathrow on a permanent basis. As such all applicants will have to have an element of flexibility when it comes to travel in order to meet both the clients and customers needs

Responsible for the health and safety of the employees within the terminals.

Implementation of new tools and development initiatives within the branch

Planning and reporting branch business, e.g. budget, 3YP, monthly / weekly financial reporting etc

Ensuring the branch is in full compliance with business policies, processes and methods

Maintaining good connections with other regional units, branch managers and members of the unit management team

Responsible for creating an environment of customer satisfaction and delight

May have active participation to Front Line management team work, communicating the needs of the region and implementing the decisions made in the regional management meeting

Lead, direct, evaluate and develop employee competences and motivation in region/branch in cooperation with MD and Unit HR
