Production Planner
Our client, a busy Specialist Welding and Fabrication business are seeking a new member for its team to complement its Production team.
Your daily tasks will involve entering in new work into an MS Access database and generating the quality documentation and Production paperwork required for the specialist welding and fabrication that we produce.
The company is involved with predominately Oil and Gas clients for which require a high level of accuracy from the standards that they work to and apply to the fabricated goods. It is through rigorous quality control, coded welding procedures and high level of expertise in production that they have created a world-renowned reputation.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Entering of Sales Orders to MS Access database
* Creating new Production Works Order Files
* Creating the work Route Card for production
* Ordering of materials required
Key Skills
* MS Office; use of Excel, Access, Word
* Fabrication/ Welding knowledge
* Familiar with material specifications/ manufacturing specifications/ NDE
* Ability to discuss manufacturing requirements with colleagues and customers

38.25 Hours per week
25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
