A modern and expanding international manufacturing facility is currently looking to recruit a Production Planner / Stock Controller with first class Customer Service skills to cover a fixed 12 month contract.

You will be responsible for liaising with key departments within the business and planning production schedules for manufacture. The ideal candidate will ideally have previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Planner / Stock Controller to join an expanding and well established business, where there is a genuine opportunity for this fixed contract to become permanent as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Plan production effectively, ensuring efficient scheduling of deliveries
Ensure accurate forecasting
Co-ordinate inter-company purchases
Control inventory within budget
Manage daily sales orders and raised associates production orders
Establish good working relationships with customers and suppliers
Project Work

Experience

Understanding of materials planning and ordering
Knowledge of working within a FMCG/manufacturing environment would be an advantage
Ability to understand production priorities and understand logistical demands
Excellent inter departmental communication skills
First class numeracy and time management skills
Customer Service experience within a manufacturing environment
Flexible, proactive approach and self motivated
Good IT skills, including Excel
