Cubed Resourcing are proud to be working in partnership with British Thornton, a leading manufacturer and assembler of furniture for major clients throughout the UK. There is now a recruitment drive for Assembly Operatives to work within their purpose built production facility in Keighley.

Duties will include:

– Use of hand tools to assemble furniture, including electric drills/screw drivers, hammers and air tools, etc.
– Working from diagrams, work instructions, picking lists & catalogues
– Training for hydraulic press
– Table hand operations
– Transporting goods/stock on pallet trucks, trolleys & rollers
– Quality control & final checks

This position can involve some heavy lifting.

Successful applicants will ideally have excellent standards of literacy and numeracy. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential to be successful in this position.

Working hours:

Day shift:
8am-5pm, Monday to Friday

Rotating shifts:
6am-2pm Mon – Thurs, 6am-1pm Friday
2pm-10pm Mon – Thurs, 1pm-8pm Friday
(The shift premium is 15% on average)

Overtime is paid at £26,000 per year

Salary:

£26,000 per year, plus shift allowances

Own transport would be beneficial due to location. There is free parking available on site.
