Our client are a privately owned company who specialize in security equipment across the UK. Currently they employ around 60 employees based over two UK sites but due to business demand, they are currently looking to add to their team based in Newcastle upon Tyne by adding an Assembly Operator to the existing team.
Reporting to the Production Manager, duties for the Assembly Operator role will include:
* Wire and assemble electrical and electronic products
* Operate a CNC and laser engraver
* Operate stud welding machine
* Carry out stock checks
* Maintain company database
The Ideal Candidate:
* Will have prior experience assembling small components
* Have good computer and IT skills to maintain company database
* Able to read and follow technical drawings
* Be a good communicator and work well as part of a team
You will be working a full time 37.5 hour week but may need to be flexible to support the needs of the business. In return, our client will offer an annual salary of £, contributory pension and an annual bonus dependent upon company performance.
