IT Business Analyst

IT Business Analyst – Tunrbidge Wells, Kent with travel – up to £480 per day and Immediate Start

One of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies are looking for a Contract Business Analyst on an initial 3 months basis with likely extensions to assist them on a large scale IT integration programme.

Role Purpose:
A Technical Business Analyst is required to join the IT Project Delivery Team on a contract basis focused on a large scale IT integration programme following recent company acquisitions.

They are looking for a dynamic individual who has a track record of successful delivery and enjoys the excitement of a fast paced, growing business.

Frequent travel will be required to Portsmouth and occasional travel to St. Ives, Cambridgeshire (approximately 2-3 days per week). The role will be predominantly based in Tunbridge Wells.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with the business to identify and prioritise requirements
• Analyse and document ‘As ls’ and ‘To Be’ processes
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops
• Liaise between the business and technical teams ensuring that customer needs are clearly understood
• Translate high level business requirements into detailed solution requirements for a technical audience
• Lead and perform business analysis in order to define high-level business requirements, conduct gap assessment, identify potential solutions and complete feasibility studies.
• Build, validate and update diagrams, models and other artefacts to describe business process and/or system requirements
• Meet with the project team(s) regularly to review project deliverables and requirements

Key Skills and Knowledge:
• Proven ability to elicit, create, review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed technical solutions.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
• Proven experience of having managed diverse groups of stakeholders.
• Experience working with a web and application development team as well as Infrastructure teams
• Strong understanding of the business analysis discipline.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Previous experience of Insurance would be preferable
