The right person for this role will have a proven track record of business analysis, including in agile environments, with the ability to translate strategy and end-to-end business design into detailed outcomes relating to change initiatives.

The Role of a Business Analyst

Your role as a Business Analyst is to understand and analyse both user and business needs. You will ensure the outcomes are aligned with service vision and business strategy by contributing to the link between current and future business models, delivering to the business architecture.

You will challenge constructively and act as a critical friend to achieve solutions that are fit for purpose. You will facilitate collaboration and lead effective communication with all stakeholders to support design, build and delivery to meet the user needs.

Essential:

Essentially the role is mainly a BA with Project management skillset hybrid, driving all processes
Design and develop the programme management elements necessary to manage the work programme
Beneficial to have a background from transformation level with Business change
Skilled at Process mapping
Data analysis
Flow process
Baselining
Benefits/business case
Risk/issues and milestones
Stakeholder engagement and communication
Set out a road map to deliver the necessary activity to achieve the target operating mode 

Typical Qualifications:

· BCS Business Analysis

· APMG Project Management

· Prince 2 Practitioner or Foundation

Typical Role Responsibilities:

Design and develop the programme management elements necessary to manage the work programme
Baseline and map out the civil penalties and enforcement landscape across Government, including policies and legislation and establish evidence base for change
Create an MVP and target operating model for delivery of the civil penalties and enforcement landscape.
Set out a road map to deliver the necessary activity to achieve the target operating model.
Define current and end state roles and responsibilities of the function and industry to deliver outcomes required
Create and execute a plan to engage and build relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
Devise approach to monitor and enforce port compliance with new approach.
Devise and articulate new guidance working with Industry and regions to deliver new requirements
