Salary: £18 – £21 per hour

Marketing Executive – 6 Month Contract – £18 – £21 per hour – London

My key client, a global blue chip organisation are currently recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join a major brand within the business to deliver, monitor and evaluate integrated direct marketing campaigns in line with business objectives.

The candidate will be responsible for:

Marketing activity, analysis and planning for directory website. Driving consumers to this directory website through a digital marketing strategy
Encouraging member firm entry enhancements through marketing activity
Liaising with multiple editorial teams to prioritise ‘adhoc’ marketing activity
Assisting with planning campaign activity, implementation and tracking results
Supporting eBook marketing and its various business-wide initiatives
Additional support on other projects as required
Campaign planning and management for Direct Mail, E-mail, Telesales, Web and above the line Marketing Campaigns, including target audience selection and copywriting
Producing mailing/telesales/e-mailing plans
Customer data mining
Producing and compiling Marketing briefs for example, telesales & design briefings
Implementation of Campaigns on time and within budget for allocated products
Source of sale/Return On Investment Analysis, campaign/channel/offer analysis
All other duties as required

Key Result Areas:

Execute a series of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns, to include DM, telemarketing, email and online marketing, to generate direct revenue via our sales channels
Brief suppliers and ensure work is progressing to agreed timelines
Work closely with the data insight team to obtain data for each campaign
Execute campaign test plans and consolidate results
Maintain effective relationships with external suppliers, including advertising and design agencies as well as internal stakeholders and suppliers
Assist with the development of and own the delivery of pre-campaign briefings and provide the necessary information to the telesales and field sales teams to ensure each campaign is a success
Track and review the performance of campaigns across all channels
Ensure all campaigns are on time and on budget
Measure and monitor the effectiveness of campaigns, recommending and implementing changes where necessary to ensure objectives are met
Provide detailed analysis and reporting of each campaign, including interpretation, commentary and recommendations
All other duties as required

Key Skills & Experience:

University degree or equivalent education/experience
3-5 years direct marketing experience
working with data the candidate must have a strong understanding of selection, manipulation and validation.
Experience of creating and executing data driven marketing campaigns, collateral production and copywriting
Experience of working in a B2B marketing environment
Experience of gathering and using competitor intelligence
Works in an area of some complexity and uses professional knowledge to deliver results
Possesses and applies a good understanding of principles and concepts in own specialist area and may have professional accreditation
The role holder is expected to keep knowledge up to date in order to develop greater independence in delivering work
Has a general understanding of other specialisms in own function
The role holder will need to develop an understanding of how to use the systems applicable to the function/role
