Construction Tutor

Construction Tutor required – Leeds, West Yorkshire – permanent position to begin in September 2016.

Master Class Education are recruiting fora construction tutor (with a focus on electrical) on behalf of an “Outstanding” Academy in East Leeds. This is a full time position within a highly desirable which is judged by Ofsted as Outstanding in every area. This is a full time and permanent position to begin in September 2016.

The successful candidate will join the Construction team (a team of tutors and support workers) and will teach a range of construction courses, co-ordinate a range of NVQ courses, as well as being involved in new and exciting curriculum planning and development. We are looking for applicants who are confident and experienced in teaching post 16 electrical skills.

Duties and responsibilities include: marking work, assessing as well as recording and reporting student progress.

A relevant tutor qualification is essential for this role and a teaching qualification such as PGCE is desirable.
