IT Support Technician

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting for an IT Support Technician for our fantastic client based in Sheffield.

Duties & responsibilities

• Be first point of contact for faults and issues.
• Keep up to date the business support ticketing system and update users who have logged issues with the progress of fixing them.
• Installing hardware and software.
• Liaise with external companies for quotes on purchasing new equipment.
• Provide users with support on day to day business systems including, but not limited to the below:
  
  • Case Management
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Document Management
  • Microsoft Office
  • Sage 50

• Setting up printer requirements and general maintenance, including liaising with 3rd party suppliers
• Supporting phone systems
• Installation and general maintenance of computers, laptops, mobile and any business hardware.
• Moving computer equipment as necessary across the business
• Installing and updating any business required software
• Administration of Active Directory, including user accounts, mailboxes and permissions
• Troubleshooting
• Assisting 2nd line support with any network issues
• Keep asset schedule up to date, with movement of hardware and licenses

Qualities & skills

Experience of the following:

• Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Office 365
• Exchange on line
• Active Directory
• Supporting Windows 10
• Technical skills for Hardware repairs / upgrades
