Salary: £26,400 per year
I am working with a globally based IT/Tech based installations company, who are looking for a 1st line / Tier 1 support technician to join their existing IT team.
The role will involve but will not be limited to:
- Providing technical support by answering support queries via telephone, webchat, and using remote desktop tools and attendance to customer sites
- Experience using SMtool/ticketing systems
- Ensure the management of all cases are managed end to end, communicating with customers and keeping service managers up to date with cases
- Ensuring all cases and logged on the system with detailed information and cases are kept updated daily/weekly
- Carry out onsite/remote triage to assess faults/issues, devising a resolution based on triage and actioning the steps to ensure the issues/faults are resolved
- Escalating cases where required to the service desk manager
- Demonstrate excellent customer service sills
- Attend technical solutions to handover meetings to ensure tasks are fulfilled within requirements for customers
- Completing scheduled preventative maintenance visits, morning testing and monitoring problematic/high priority issues
- Arranging for external technical support where required
We are looking for a proven technical support 1st line support engineer ideally with experience of audio visual and video conferencing issues.
Experience troubleshooting technical faults within any of the following would be a distinct advantage:
- Virtual conference rooms, theatres, collaboration spaces and auditoriums
- Cisco video conferencing systems
- Amplifiers, mixers, and microphones
- Electronic whiteboards.
- Microsoft office products
The ideal candidate will need a full UK drivers license, as occasional travel is required, via access to a company work van.
The role is based Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm, from the clients’ modern offices overlooking the Lagan, with free onsite parking.
