We have a fantastic opportunity for a 3rd line Support Engineer to join a leading IT Support company in the Rugby area to provide technical support to their Nationwide customer base, including installation and migration services. The ideal Candidate will have a passion for Microsoft technologies, with strong commercial experience with Exchange, AD, etc (MS or Citrix certification would be advantageous, although not essential)

Utilising your experience of either onsite IT projects work or working as a Field Engineer, you’ll ideally have experience of multiple installations of Exchange Server 2007/10/12 or SBS 2008 / 11, and providing onsite 2nd line support thereafter including general Microsoft, Active Directory, and Exchange / troubleshooting etc.

Essential Technical Skills

Solid knowledge of the following (in descending order of importance)

• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop (including WEM and FSLOGIX)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012-2019
• Microsoft Office Suite/O365, especially in a Citrix environment
• Citrix ADC
• Firewalls (Cisco PIX/ASA, Palo Alto)
• Cisco Switching/Routing (including ability to troubleshoot networking incidents)
• Veeam (both for backup and DR)
• VMware vSphere recent (v6.x upwards)
