Power Supply Design Engineers (Intermediate to Senior)

Due to the continued growth of the Company we are now looking to recruit several experienced and skilled Power Supply Design Engineers. Power Supplies are designed for Communication and Defence industries, salaries will range from £35,000 to £50,000 depending on your experience.

Applicants must be degree qualified within Electronics or a related discipline with previous experience in the design of SMPS. You may also need to undergo CS security clearance so we can only accept applicants with either full UK or EU citizenship, although all other applicants will be considered on a case by case scenario.

Positions available include
• Intermediate SMPS design engineers £35,000 – £40,000 DPE
• Senior Design engineers £38,000 – £50,000 DPE

Duties will include:
• Support in the preparation of Technical Proposals including development unit prices and non-recurring engineering costs.
• The design and development of new projects to meet customer requirements and current global legislations.
• Recording all aspects of the project design, development and design proving activities in Project Log Books.
• Support of the Production Department in areas relating to the design and performance of production hardware
• Providing technical and cost control of own and team development projects.

You will need to demonstrate
• A proven background conceptual design experience and an ability to design to low and medium volume production cost targets.
• Commercially aware, with good communication and interpersonal skills and able to interface with the customer at a high technical level & Experience of high levels of customer contact.
• In-depth knowledge of Switch Mode Power Supply or SMPS design
