Technical Team Engineer

Salary: £26,000 per year

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Team Engineer the role is for an onsite and remote service and support engineer, the role will cover all aspects of the tech team including projects, installations, and support.
Roles:
* Installation of Hardware / software both onsite and remotely
* Perform system setup, upgrades and configuration changes
* Perform User training
* Work on our support desk answering calls / supporting clients
* Work with 3rd Parties
* Required to cover On Call Weekend support 1 in every 5 weeks
* Working onsite covering the whole of the UK, overnight stays up to 4 consecutive nights
Essential Skills and qualities:
* Full clean UK driving licence
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
* Ability to work flexibly in a changing work environment,
* Willingness to work with others and absorb knowledge
* Keen interest in IT and a desire to work in a ‘non-standard’ IT environment
* Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office 365 Products (Word/Excel/Teams etc)
Desirable Skills – at least two of:
* Experience of EPoS Software and/or Hardware (such as Barcode scanners, Thermal Receipt printers etc)
* Experience of project management
* Experience of business processes such as Cash Reporting and Stock Control
* Azure Server setup and administration
* SQL Database Query Writing
