Support Worker

We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our specialist team of Support Workers supporting a specific client (s) with Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, Physical Disabilities, Autism and Challenging Behaviours in the Croydon area.

We believe that the successful Support Worker always has the right values and attitudes.
We have various hours available we are currently looking for the following hours a week:
– 30 hours a week
– 35 hours a week
– We also have 0 hour bank positions available
Previous experience is essential.
We would like you to help us drive up quality in supporting people within their own homes in all aspects of their daily lives -and in their communities.

We are looking for support Workers who can work Monday-Friday daytime, Night shifts weekends as well as evenings.

As a Support Worker you will:
� Play a key role in the lives of the individuals that we support
� Provide high quality emotional and physical support, as well as building and maintaining independence.
� Look after the health and wellbeing of clients.
� Support the personalised development of each service user
� Keep accurate records including completing a daily log books.
� Need to be able to attend all customer calls
� Need to have the ability to support clients in the community
Duties include:
� Administering medication following the medical instructions carefully and accurately
� Preparation of meals
� Providing personal care and ensuring that all care needs are met
� Capable of using manual handling equipments as required
� Transport client(s) to social activities, offer support in the community and provide companionship
� Responsible for general house keeping and carry out light duties around the house
