Support Worker

Salary: £26,000 – £28,080 per year

A large, lively, and successful SEN school based in Croydon are looking to take on a Support Worker to join them on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible. The SEN school caters for students from Key Stage 1 to 2 with complex needs, such as autism, MLD, SLD and SLCN.

The school aim to provide an outstanding and supportive learning environment which challenges students to achieve success. The core learning values, which are at the centre of the curriculum, focus upon developing the student’s resilience and ability to make informed life choices.

This role could lead to the opportunity of further professional development to train as a Senior TA or HLTA. Key tasks are to support and develop the educational environment for the students, to include extending their curriculum skills, social skills, and personal development. The school are looking for someone who is energetic, hardworking and above all passionate about supporting students with special educational needs!

This position will be working with a Key Stage 2 class, the class is made up of 5 pupils all of which have autism and can display challenging behaviour.
