Salary: £33,571 – £36,317 per year
Just ONE have an exciting position available for a full-time Support Worker based in Wrexham. The successful candidate can earn between £33,571.2 – £36,316.8 this is an example for if you were to work two 24 hour shifts and an additional 12 hour shift per week. The rate will differ depending on your level of NVQ and experience.
As a Support Worker you will provide exceptional care and support to individuals. You will provide care and support in a person-centred way and give the individuals the opportunity to maintain their independence and gain new skills.
Please note – this role requires the successful candidate to either have a Full UK Driving Licence or to be willing to work towards this during the first 12 months.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to individuals (dependant on package of support)
- individuals in line with their person-centred plans
- Support individuals in the day-to-day tasks involved in ordinary living
- Administer medication (dependant on package of support)
- Raise any safeguarding concerns regarding the individual
- Enable individuals to gain and maintain independence
- Support with individuals’ finances
- Take individuals to social activities
- Organise medical appointments for individuals
- Record daily activities
- Maintain family and friends contact with individual
- Maintain daily paperwork to a high standard
