Regional Lean Manager – Northern UK

Here at Ripe4 we’ve got a great opportunity for a Lean Implementation Manager to oversee the continuous improvement programme at our client’s sites in the Northern region of the UK. The client is a global organisation within the food and industry, and this position will focus on 2 of their core locations.

Sitting on the centralised lean team, there are two core responsibilities of this role. The first is to coach and mentor the on-site lean manufacturing managers throughout projects to ensure the smooth rollout of the continuous improvement programme, and the second is to operate at board level by liaising and reporting to the businesses key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for this role will have multi-site experience, and must be certified to Black Belt level. They will have had previous experience of working within a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing industry as a background in the food industry is not essential. The ability to work at all levels of a business is also vital, as stakeholder management will be a key aspect of this role. This role demands that the winning incumbent has a real passion and drive for continuous improvement, as well as proven, practical experience in implementing Lean tools and techniques.
