Marketing Manager

The Company:
Our Client requires an experienced Marketing Manager to manage all internal and external marketing communications. With responsibility for marketing strategy, branding and budget you will develop and implement creative marketing strategies that will make an impact, support the brand and drive sales and online traffic. You will oversee documentation, publications, website, PR activity, exhibition stand and any other presentation material for customers and internal use covering our products and services to meet the requirements of the company. It is essential that you are a generalist Marketer with a sound “product marketing” background.

Job Responsibilities:
* Apply company strategic objectives in all areas of marketing activity
* Develop an annual marketing plan detailing the year’s activity to meet agreed company objectives
* Identify and analyse media opportunities that target the company’s strategic objectives
* Evaluate campaign performance and recommend best practice
* Collate and analyse market intelligence/ monitor competitor activity
* Build professional relationships with relevant companies, associations and agencies.
* Manage the marketing budget on a day to day basis
* Develop innovate and cost effective promotions both in print and online
* Ensure that materials created are effectively written, illustrated and produced, are visually attractive, and that they enhance the image of the company and its products.
* Maintain awareness of design, advertising and publicity trends.
* Meet production targets/deadlines
* Oversee the effective management of PR opportunities
* Design and coordinate production of company exhibition stand and associated material/product to positively reflect company image
* Day to day management of the Marketing team
* Monitor staff performance against goals
* To participate in the company’s appraisal process

Preferred Skills:
* Relevant marketing qualification would be preferable.
* Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives within a quality, product driven environment.
* A proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and PR staff and activities
* Strong commercial and analytical skills
* Understanding of CRM
* High levels of creativity
* Budget management experience
* IT skills in web research and analysis, statistical analysis and communications
* Project management and prioritizing
* Team management
* Related industry experience of working in a Manufacturing environment with quality products is desirable.
