Salary £48,000 – £60,000 + benefits including car allowance and substantial bonus

This is a high profile role in a fast moving and dynamic company who have gained a dominant position in their market. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be tasked with enhancing marketing strategies and developing product brands in order to strengthen business and further extend market leadership.

*To develop and define a channel marketing strategy and rolling 5 year plan.
*To define gaps analysis by channel mapping per geography and vertical and then implement plan for on boarding to close those gaps after identifying correct partners to deal with.
*To control and maximize returns
*To have regular strategy setting meetings with key channel partners at both tier 1 and tier 2.
*To oversee the channel communications including, but not restricted to, channel portal development, lead allocation systems, channel newsletter development, Channel Congress.
*Work alongside Sales & Channel Enablement to enrich the level of education in the channel for total solutions (hardware, software and services combined). Advise on training course content and schedule.
*To manage and coach 2 direct reports.

Essential Skills/Experience:
*Previous channel marketing experience, business development, technical marketing or related field
*Be able to produce marketing strategy and business plan.
*Be able to demonstrate strong customer relationship skills.
*Self- motivated ability to work with little definition and without supervision while multi-tasking and prioritising across a number of projects and initiatives.
*Outstanding project management skills.
*Ability to conduct research and extract key findings to support channel strategies.
*Strategic orientation and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Willing to travel as required to meet partners.
*Foreign language skills an advantage.
