Product Marketing Manager (process instrumentation) – Cambridgeshire, UK
Basic salary £60,000 – £72,000+ car allowance & private medical cover

A new vacancy for a Product Marketing Manager with leading international manufacturer of high-tech process instrumentation used in a wide range of industrial markets. This will be a senior role within the company with 3 direct reports. The role will be primarily office-based (when not travelling) so candidates should either be already based in the Cambridgeshire/Northants area or willing to relocate at short notice.

The role:
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities for your products. You will craft the messaging and positioning for products. You’ll conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits, are crucial requirements for the job. In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will be the expert in working with buyers, understanding how they buy and their buying criteria and transferring that knowledge to the sales channel. You will also be required to create product specifications for inclusion into a NPI process and manage the market requirements, working closely with the company’s project team within R&D.

Key candidate requirements:
– You must be an accomplished writer with experience developing high-impact sales materials for a successful instrumentation or process monitoring company.
– 5+ years of product marketing experience with at least 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role.
– Experience in developing effective and creative product marketing collateral, such as Web content, data sheets, and white papers.
– Formal qualification in business or marketing.
– Willingness to travel (approx 20%).
