Team Leader / Executive Lead Consultant – Housing

A Senior Recruitment Opportunity has materialised within our central Birmingham location. This role will involve heading up a team of 3 consultants within our established Housing and Property Services Division. The team cover predominantly Temporary placements into Housing Associations, Charities, and ALMO’s within the Midlands area.

This is a full billing role where you will inherit a thriving desk which has good potential to grow further capitalising on business needs in this area. You will focus on placing Housing management candidates through to Executive level on a temp, contact or permanent basis.

This role will involve all elements of management and mentoring a growing team of consultations, setting team goals, monitoring KPIs and carrying out performance reviews. You will be recruiting, training and on-boarding new consultants, and trainees to the business and implementing development plans accordingly. An element the role will involve business planning and formulation of strategy for increasing market share and identification of new sector potential.

The ideal candidate is an experienced recruitment professional with a proven track record of success at leading, developing and inspiring a team to perform. You will have a strong background within the recruitment industry with exposure to the Housing and the non for profit sector being ideal but not essential. You will be a credible, articulate business professional with outstanding commercial and people skills and a passion for growing business. Consideration will be given to ‘Senior Consultants’ looking to make the next step up.
