About the Client
Set in rural countryside, our client is a residential and day centre providing care service to Elderly and Dementia residents.
About The Role
To contribute to and have responsibility for providing quality social and vocational support for residents. To lead and supervise a team of Healthcare Assistants to ensure the needs of the residents are met.
Candidate expectations
Required
* NVQ/QCF level 3 or willingness to work towards within 12 months.
* Knowledge of current legislation relating to care, Health & Safety, and Hygiene.
* Previous experience of working in a Care Setting.
* Flexible and adaptable approach.
* Current Medication Certification
* Excellent Communication skills.
* Work on initiative.
* Good Management skills.
Preferential
* Good development skills.
* Knowledge of administering medications.
* Leadership skills
* Rota planning
* IT skills.
