Quality Assurance Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £72,000 per year

Quality Assurance Manager | £50,000 – £60,000 | South London | Main Contractor | Permanent

This market-leading commercial fit out and refurbishment contractor is looking for an experienced QA Manager to join their ranks in the form of a Quality Assurance Manager.

Working on projects ranging from around half a million up to £30-40m, the Quality Assurance Manager will report directly to the Head of Quality Assurance & Systems, working across the lifecycle of projects from tendering and pre-construction, through construction to handover and aftercare.

Quality Assurance Manager – some of your responsibilities and duties:

• Assist with the preparation of project specific tender documentation
• Undertake initial site visits to ensure the project operational team is set up and supported correctly
• Carry out regular site audits and inspections, using Nexus
• Ensure the project operations site lead is completing the handover checklist and managing the handover period
• Work with the HS&E team to ensure successful visits by the certification body in relation to ISO14001 / ISO 45001 certification
• Support the head of QA and Systems with a range of other general company duties such as guidance, support and training, production and maintenance of documents and capturing quality related performance measures data

Quality Assurance Manager – qualifications, skills and experience:

• Proven experience in a Quality Assurance Manager capacity
• Experience within a main contractor environmental, ideally within commercial fit out / refurbishment
• Ability to work collaboratively with a number of different teams and managers
• Ability to explain complex information in simple terms
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
