Internal Quality Assurance Coordinator

My client is looking to recruit a Internal Quality Assurance Co-ordinator to co-ordinate and qualify assure qualifications in accordance with the Learning & Development strategy and to support the development of the service.

Principal Accountabilities

Work as part of a team to deliver a responsive, high quality, customer and outcome focused quality assurance service to the workforce.
Responsible for best practice of work based assessment through delivering standardisation meetings, induction and CPD of assessors.

Mentor, coach and train all new assessors.

Carry out best practice, procedures and principles of quality assurance in the field of qualifications and accreditation in line with internal and external benchmarks.

Deliver qualifications and provide assessments across the workforce in line with organisational needs, ensuring quality is met.

Attend and contribute to team meetings and standardisation.
Contribute to the development of course materials and resources in line with the Qualification and Accreditation service requirements.

Coordinate, monitor and report on a case load of learners / assessors ensuring they meet set targets for new starts and completions

Comply with reporting requirements, systems and processes in the Qualifications and Accreditation Service.

This post is subject to an Enhanced criminal record disclosure check. This will be applied for through the relevant disclosure body depending on the geographic location of role.

Achieve the highest standards of safeguarding, whether through direct care provision or support activities to the children and young people who come into contact with our services, or by appropriately reporting concerns about any child or young person

You will be covering North East – Northumberland, Durham, North Yorkshire and surrounding areas. This role will be 2 to 5 days per week until March 31st, 2014.
