Commissioning Engineer

The job location is our office address, this vacancy could be anywhere in Scotland.

Roles and Responsibilities;

Identifying problems and shortcomings with existing systems.Coordinating, testing and commissioning activities and providing advice on testing and commissioning procedures and documentation.Producing and assisting in the production of all test and commissioning documentation. Undertaking testing and commissioning activities in line with the specified site requirements. Monitoring progress, recording all test results, witnessing final testing and acceptance of equipment and compilation of all documentation for inclusion in the site dossier. Ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary plant performance in accordance with project program requirements.
You should also be confident in formulating detailed plant and installation specifications and you will require a good knowledge of plant equipment standards and specifications for transmission projects.
You should display excellent communications skills and be comfortable coordinating with other engineering disciplines including Overhead Line, Cable, Civil Works, Protection and Commissioning Operations.
