Temporary Finance Officer

Salary: £16.8 – £19.2 per hour

Dedicate Recruitment is working in partnership with this North London Multi Academy Trust which is seeking a competent Finance Officer on an immediate basis with a view to permanent employment.

Based in one of their satellite schools in the Highbury & Islington area, you will be working closely with the Senior Finance Officer, covering all aspects of purchase order processing, dealing with queries and with a proficient knowledge of Excel to an intermediate level. Working closely with the schools’ procurements teams, you will ensure that all information regarding requisitions is correct on the system, using Access Education Finance. Training will be provided.

You will reconcile accounts and be involved in credit control, following up with the relevant Local Authority regarding funds which are owed to the Trust.

The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in accounts and is confident using Excel. You will be a reliable and positive member of a small team, who is happy to take on ad hoc duties when required.

The hours of work are 8.30am – 4pm with 30 minutes lunch break, 35 hours per week. Hybrid working is on offer for this role.

The successful applicant will hold or be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
