Our client is based in the Uxbridge area, they are a well-known global engineering company You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the Fabric & M&E team, along with overseeing a small number of projects you must have experience delivering projects. Main Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Facilities / H&S Manager to continuously monitor work on-site in accordance with Health & Safety Procedures
* Reporting to the Head of Facilities in the successful delivery of FM Estate projects through the coordination, supervision and delivery of projects from inception through to completion
* Experience managing the Fabric & Maintenance Engineering team
* Management of 3-5 small to medium size projects at any one time
* Liaising with external stakeholders including engineers, consultants, suppliers and contractors
* Work with the Facilities team to prepare and attend snagging inspections prior to completion
* Ensure that schedules of defects after handover are maintained, and their rectification before the expiration of any defect’s liability period
Essential Skills
* Candidate should have an ‘outline’ knowledge of planning and building regs
* Management and ownership of Facilities Management departmental policies, procedures, compliance and statutory reporting
* Good understanding and working knowledge CAFM Systems
* Good understanding and working knowledge of AutoCAD would be a benefit
* Previous experience in a Facilities Management / Construction / Building Services Project Management
* Solid understanding of construction technology and M&E building services
* Experience of Facilities Project Management within an engineering/manufacturing
* Ideally working towards MRICS / MCIOB / MWIFM or equivalent
