Facilities Manager

Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year

Our client is a well established law firm with four offices across Cheshire. We are assisting them to fill the vacancy of Facilities Manager. The role will be based at the Stockport offices with regular travel to the other three.

Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for the management of the working environment, services, equipment and processes to support the effective running of the business premises and the operational effectiveness of a multi-site firm.

Main Responsibilities (not an exhaustive list)

* To ensure all aspects of the Facilities Management functions are being performed to a high standard

* To plan, develop and review a rolling maintenance plan for all offices in the firm that will support existing and future business needs

* To plan and manage all office moves within the firm

* To ensure that all staff and new starters have the corrrect physical equipment to carry out their roles

* To be responsible for the organisation of planned and reactive repair works

* To be responsible for the statutory compliance of required regulations in line with building regulatory requirements

* To manage the firms Health & Safety in line with legislation and in accordance with the firm’s policies

* To manage the facility budget and business administration including the provision of reports and costs as required

Skills and Experience

* A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role

* Organised, thorough and articulate

* Project management experience

* Relevant H&S qualification, IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications would be beneficial

* Customer focused with an ambition to deliver first class facilities

* Problem solving skills and able to work under pressure within deadlines
