Salary: £26,000 – £27,600 per year

Then this could be the role for you. 

Our client, a well established organisation situated in the heart of Bracknell is looking to appoint an Entry Level stock administrator. Within this role you will be responsible for supporting the stock controller with effective stock management. 

Responsibilities will include:

– Effective inventory management of allocated suppliers to achieve 98% stock availability and stock ageing targets.

– Effective use of the companies inventory management software through:

– Daily review of recommended orders to ensure they will not result in under/overstocks.

– Maintenance of product lead times so that appropriate levels of safety stock are calculated.

– Identify and rotate overstocked products back to suppliers.

– Update delivery dates in system

– Progress daily overdue purchase orders.

– Expedite out of stock products

– Address performance issues with suppliers that are affecting the supply chain.

– Resolve supplier invoice queries.

– Managing run down of EOL stock and intro of new stock

– Any other duties in order to comply with company and departmental mission plans.

– Have a statutory duty to observe all health and safety rules and to take all reasonable care of your own safety and the safety of other who may be affected by your actions.

The ideal candidate will have: 

A genuine interest in the supply chain

Previous office experience, within in the supply chain industry would be highly advantageous

Ability to work accurately and methodically with a detailed approach.

Excellent organisation skills to ensure all activities are completed on time.

Proficient user of all Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.

Must be able to work as part of a team.

Success orientated with a will to win attitude.

Credible and confident in meetings with suppliers.
