German Speaking Accountant

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year

Are you looking to develop a career in Accounting? We are a boutique firm of accountants working with international businesses. As part of our team, you will be working on monthly management accounts, VAT and payrolls and rapidly learning new skills in these fields. You will also have an opportunity to join our professional study program to become a fully qualified accountant or tax adviser.

The Role:

As part of our compliance team you will be supporting colleagues with the completion of compliance work. You will be helping to ensure the timely delivery of VAT returns, UK payrolls and month/year end management accounting.

You will also learn how to carry out tax research to assist colleagues working on tax projects.

You will help with the administration of the department and provide some administrative support to the management.

The main job responsibilities are:

Assisting with accounting and tax compliance including the delivery of:

Bookkeeping

• Help preparing tax declarations and VAT returns
• Monthly management accounts
• Assisting with administrative tasks

The ideal candidate will be keen to learn new skills and have good team-working skills.

• Must be fluent in German
• High level of numerical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Task focused and deadline orientated

Office and/or Hybrid preferred but open to remote for the right candidate.

Working hours: 40 hours pw – 8.30am-5.30pm
