Senior Freight Audit Administrator

**SENIOR FREIGHT AUDIT ADMINISTRATOR – AUTOMOTIVE – LUTON – £21,000 to £24,000 (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE) PLUS EXCELLENT BENEFITS**

Our client is a national logistics business specialising within the automotive industry and is looking to recruit a Senior Freight Audit Administrator to its site in Luton.

ROLE FOR A SENIOR FREIGHT AUDIT ADMINISTRATOR

The main functions of the role are:

To provide support, from both an administrative and accounting perspective, including but not limited to freight audit; invoicing; month-end activities
To deal with information requests from both internal and external sources
To liaise with and ensure interaction between various internal Departments and also Clients and Contractors
To quality check and correct any potential discrepancies with regards to invoices and chase outstanding or overdue payments, whilst complying with company policies and procedures
To provide management reports in support of KPI’s and team performance and take responsibility for improvement suggestions
To maintain absolute accuracy within the freight audit systems and ensure that documentation procedures are adhered to at all times

EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR A SENIOR FREIGHT AUDIT ADMINISTRATOR

Ideally, you will be degree educated with experience within logistics
You will require excellent analytical skills and an advanced level of knowledge with Excel, databases and large volumes of data. However, good all-round IT skills are essential
Knowledge of local and international tax regulations ensuring correct, accurate and appropriate documentation
You will be an effective communicator at both written and verbal levels, have a proactive approach to problem resolution and be confident at challenging in a constructive manner when necessary
