Salary: £26,000 per year

Principal ResponsibilityTo support the Data Protection and Information Sharing Manager by co-ordinating the review of all Information Sharing Agreements (ISAs) between the force and its many partners and other external agencies. In particular, to:

*Develop the processes for ensuring effective monitoring and maintenance of the considerable number of ISAs existing between the force and other signatories to the agreements so that they remain both current and valid.
*Build and further develop relationships with partner organisations so as to ensure those organisations are responsive to the need for those agreements to be approved speedily and maintained regularly, encouraging and cajoling as appropriate.
*Deal professionally with members of the public and partner organisations, both in writing and over the telephone, drafting appropriately accurate, precise and clear communications, letter and emails when needed.
*Participate in meetings with outside agencies and represent the Force with regard to ISAs by contributing effectively to those meetings by presenting and maintaining the Force’s position.
*Act as initial point of contact and provide specialist advice on ISAs, providing guidance on a variety of queries with regard to the access and sharing of information.
*Assist with the design and delivery of ISA training/awareness sessions to a variety of audiences both inside and outside the force.
