Test Engineer (Vending)

We are proud to be working alongside a global leader in vending solutions and innovations, who due to continued success is recruiting for an experienced Vending Test Engineer.

Responsibilities of the Vending Test Engineer:

* test vending systems, mechanical parts, mechanisms, valves and component life
* ensure design conformance through testing methodologies (regression, HALT, and reliability)
* rest rig preparation and PLC programming
* sound electrical knowledge
* participate in new product development and provide support for resource planning
* execute and recommend testing for new technologies / alternative components
* maintain a focus on continuous improvement through cost efficient business solutions and make recommendations to management
* work closely with Value Stream Managers, procurement, customer support, product support, sales and marketing, and other functional organisations

Qualifications and experience of the Vending Test Engineer:

* HND / HNC mechanical/electrical engineering or similar required
* degree in engineering / technical desirable
* proven electronic circuit analysis and design appreciation
* experience in a test-engineering environment
* ideally vending product knowledge
* knowledge of various types of manufacturing equipment and the limitations
* experience of working with other engineers and designers to define constraints and requirements
* proficient in the knowledge of use of MS Office (word, excel)

Vending Test Engineer – Permanent
Salary / annual salary of: up to £33,600 – £42,000per annum
