Test Engineer – Rapid PCR Diagnostics

Our ambitious client whose business is point of care diagnostics is looking for an experienced and talented Test Engineer – Rapid PCR Diagnostics.
You will be responsible for devising, implementing and qualifying equipment or tests – spanning software, subsystem, and full system that assess the performance. During development you will work in close collaboration across departments to move to in-house development for subsequent product iteration with plans to undertake low-volume manufacture and scale-up to high volume with 3rd parties.
To succeed you will need a BSc or Master’s degree in engineering, software engineering or a related discipline. Demonstrable experience in the development or test of regulated devices, preferably medical devices / in vitro diagnostics as well as compliance to ISO 13485 is essential. CAD / fixture design and Metrology experience would be desirable.
