My client is a leading international travel management company that specializing in providing travel services – business and corporate. The company is constantly growing and are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team.

We are looking for a hard-working, sales and target driven candidate that would happily join an all-expanding franchise within Croydon.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible bringing new business to the company, primarily in the form of a small to medium size corporate. Liaising with the Managing Director, you’ll be expected to produce creative and engaging marketing plans, that will help expand and sale the company to new cliental.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Creating and maintain a relationship with new and existing clients
* Manage and supply your clients with corporate travel service
* Attending meetings with clients
* Produce weekly sales reports
* Maintaining a database of current and possible clients
* Attend presentations and seminars presented by travel suppliers
* Arrange and attend trade fairs/exhibitions
* Promote the company, bringing in new business

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Full clean driving license
* Car owner
* Computer literate

A commission scheme is placed for this role, in which a percentage of the profit generated is rewarded. You’ll be expected to drive to meetings and relevant events, in which you’ll be reimbursed for your mileage.
