Sea Freight Operations Clerk

Salary: £30,000 – £34,800 per year

Our client is a global transport and logistics company, operating in over 90 countries worldwide. They currently require a Sea Freight Forwarding Clerk mainly sea exports to join the Sea freight team in Altrincham, Cheshire, in an established freight office.

You will complete the full Sea freight exports/imports cycle, taking bookings, completing all documentation, arranging collection and delivery, customs entries, quotations and negotiating rates with Shipping lines, using destin8, CNS and sequoia.

This is a very involved role and represents an excellent opportunity to join an ever-expanding company.

To be considered you must have some experience in sea freight exports or imports with this experience gained from a freight forwarder. Training will be provided if you only have imports or exports background. You will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a high level of initiative.
