Cargo Operations Clerk

As an established Cargo Handling Company at Heathrow Airport, we have vacancies for the position of Cargo Operations Clerk.

The Cargo Operations Clerk will:

– Use designated software and appropriate paperwork to process import & export shipments in accordance with company procedures and agreed quality levels
– Maintain a high level of customer service and accuracy in the processing and movement of cargo in line with industry, airline and company requirements
– Work as part of a team to meet operational targets and deadlines
– Maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards at all times

The Cargo Operations Clerk will require the following:

– Sound knowledge of Airline Cargo Industry procedures & regulations
– Excellent customer service & communication skills
– Good IT / PC skills
– Ability to work in busy and demanding environment
– Flexibility & Adaptability in your approach to work
– Previous airline cargo industry experience in a similar role along with knowledge of cargo operating systems such as ABS would be an advantage.

40 Hours/week – 4 days on 4 days off Shift Pattern – 12 Hour Shifts (Days & Nights)
