Funds Product Manager, Investment Banking – London
This role is for a Global Fund Management dept. Part of the European function is responsible for managing all processes related to fund governance. Daily duties:
• Lead coordination and administration with regards Registrations, Listings and Tax Reporting of all Funds across each jurisdiction
• Drive, manage, enhance the relationship with the 3rd party service providers
• Project manage each new registration, listing and tax filing and/or amendments and working closely with the product development team. Ensure host regulator filing timely.
• Effectively coordinate several recurring Fund support functions (including fund audits, tax transparency status, Board of Director approvals etc) with multiple internal teams and external service providers at various levels.
• Identify, agree/improve, documentation and implement Fund procedures.
• Responsible for the coordination of audit and production of semi-annual accounts where tailor-made to host regulator requirements.
• Management of the global query inbox.
• Proactive monitoring of regulation in order to manage changes/opportunities for funds and provide frequent updates to stakeholders.
• Responsibility for all aspects of data management related to all funds in scope, ensuring that the fund related data available to internal and external parties is accurate at all times. Pro-actively and effectively communicate relevant Fund information within EMEA Product Management team.
• Work with marketing and EMEA Product Management team to ensure Fund information is correctly represented internet and intranet sites
• All responsibilities must be performed ensuring appropriate coordination with all relevant internal and external stakeholders globally (Investment Management, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Board, Custodian and Fund Administrator, etc) and escalate where appropriate

Ideal Background / Experience: Funds product management experience required
• University degree + relevant experience in fund / product management or development
• Strong and proven project management skills
• Knowledge of European fund regulation (eg UCITS, MIFID, AIFMD)
• Good understanding of pan-European asset management industry and solutions required by asset owners and intermediaries
